(EMLA 111) A late-season apple known for its complex, spicy sweet-tart flavor that improves in storage, and its golden-yellow skin with a red-orange blush. It is firm, crisp and juicy with a long shelf life. Great for fresh eating, cooking and drying.

All apple varieties for the Spring Tree Sale share some common characteristics. Apple trees will reach a height of 12-15’ and will spread approximately 12-15’ wide. Each has a white bloom and large fruit size. Pollination is required (you will need to buy two varieties or plant near an existing apple tree for cross pollination) and the trees require full sun. Loamy, well drained soils will yield highest success with a pH Level between 6.0 and 7.0. It will take approximately 2-6 years for the trees to begin bearing fruit.
